When is the best time to post?

I did a tiny, tiny sample (which is more than likely insignificant, BUT I will use it because it suits my narrative today.) The results from the poll conducted on Linkedin: It was a relatively even split – people browsed while waking up, waiting, and wanting to find information.

Some folk love to lie in bed and scroll while drinking coffee, multitask while watching TV, or browse when waiting for something. People are awake when you are asleep, and vice versa.


Ok, enough of the obvious – so when is the best time to post? The best time to post is Regularly.


Regularly Experiment on the best times that will reach your audience: While posting regularly is important, it's also valuable to experiment with different posting times to see when your audience is most active. This may vary depending on your target audience and your platform. Consider Time Zones: Being cognizant of time zones is crucial, especially if your audience is spread across different regions. Tools and scheduling features on social media platforms can help you schedule posts at times that align with your audience's time zones.


Regularly check that your content is worth reading: Posting regularly is essential, but the quality of your content is equally important. Ensure that your posts are interesting, valuable, and relevant to your audience. High-quality content is more likely to engage and retain your followers.


Regularly post on different days and times. Don't be afraid to mix it up. Posting at different times on different days can help you reach different segments of your audience. Some people may be more active on weekends, while others are more engaged during the week.


REGULARLY engage with Your Audience: Respond to comments and messages (not the BOT ones, you know the ones - within a second of connecting, you get a message about how they have been following your posts), and engage with your audience to build a sense of community. This can lead to increased loyalty and more consistent interactions with your content.


The best posting strategy can vary depending on your specific niche, target audience, and the platform you're using. Regularly reviewing your analytics and adjusting your posting schedule and content strategy accordingly is a good practice to ensure you're effectively reaching and engaging your audience.
